The Hood Canal Dissolved Oxygen Program (HCDOP) Freshwater Monitoring Program has been collecting and analyzing streamwater samples to determine the concentrations of various nutrient constituents in streams around Hood Canal. This graph displays 2005 results for total dissolved nitrogen at all freshwater sample sites. The HCDOP hopes to use these results to determine freshwater nutrient loading levels and to compare nutrient loading patterns between watersheds with different land use patterns.
